That’s probably your first question now. Well in a nutshell this site is for people who constantly ask others if they can help you to get started with Source Filmmaker. Since this question is so wide spread and some seem to miss the point for the existence of Google I decided to make this little page here.

We Source Filmmaker animators get this question far too often and no we simply have no time to teach each and every one of you guys out there the basics of Source Filmmaker. There are many awesome tutorials for this already which you should consider watching before asking anything. Many beginner questions will be cleared away in those. See below for link(s).

First of all you should stick to the official Valve tutorials. They’ll teach you all the basics and how to find and do certain things in SFM.
After finishing these you can search for more tutorials on YouTube. I could link a few more here but they’ll probably not cover the things you want to know. Maybe I’ll add some more links here in the future, who knows.
